Dan Hesketh owns and runs Hesketh & Son. He maps the rubric, directs the drafting, and reviews and signs off every submission by hand before it reaches you. There is no account team and no handoff: when you call or email, you reach the person doing the work and putting his name to it.

Where he comes from

Before this firm, Dan spent his career in commercial and marketing roles inside Nordic technology companies, among them Jabra, Huddly, and most recently reMarkable, the Norwegian paper-tablet company. He is British, based in Oslo, and works across English and Norwegian.

Why the machine exists

At reMarkable, Dan built a system for organising the company knowledge an AI needs to give reliable answers; the engineering team adopted it for company-wide AI work. He also ran the internal training that taught non-technical teams to get real work out of these tools. That work is the whole basis of this firm: AI is only as good as the knowledge and the constraints you give it, and it needs a named human accountable at the end. The drafting system behind Hesketh & Son is built to that discipline, map the rubric first, tag every claim to a real source, and let a person own the result.

The first thing he built for this firm

The first system Dan built here was not a pitch. It was the writing engine that produced the Chairman's own professional correspondence, in Philip's voice, for years before the firm had another client. The Chairman trusted that system with his own name before he lent it to a door with the family name on it.
