Two halves of the same problem
Hesketh & Son is exactly what the name says. Philip Hesketh, the Chairman, spent a career on the psychology of persuasion: what actually moves a decision-maker, and how to earn a yes without overclaiming. Dan Hesketh, his son, spent the past year building a system that drafts tender, grant, and award submissions to the exact criteria an evaluator scores against.
The two things belong together. A tender is decided by a person holding a scoring sheet, so winning one is a persuasion problem with a rubric attached. Philip knows the persuasion. Dan built the machine that lands the evidence where the marks are. The firm is the two of them, working the same problem from both ends.
A submission is won by persuading one person holding a rubric. We come at that from both ends: the psychology, and the evidence.
