A bid worth winning, and no team or spare days to write it properly.

Hesketh & Son drafts tender, grant, and award submissions for small and mid-sized UK and Norwegian companies. Fixed fee, mapped to the buyer's published rubric before a word is written.

We map every requirement to the rubric (the buyer's published scoring criteria) before any drafting starts. We write from your own evidence, tag every claim to where it came from, and check it by hand before it reaches you.

How the work is made, said plainly: we draft with AI, tag every claim to your own evidence, and a named person reviews it and signs it off by hand before it reaches you. We put it on the tin. And if a tender asks you to declare AI use, we give you the wording.

The situation

You have found a tender, grant, or award worth going for. You don't have a bid-writing team, and doing it properly takes days you don't have while you are also running the business. And underneath it sits a fair question: why trust your deadline to a firm you have not heard of?

Here is the straight answer. We are new, and we will not dress up a client list we have not earned. What we will do is draft the submission from your own evidence, your own track record, and the exact criteria you are scored against, then hand it back for you to review, sign off, and submit as your own. And before any of that, we show you free of charge what your public record already scores and where it falls short. If the evidence genuinely cannot support a competitive score against the published rubric, we say so and decline the job, rather than draft something that pads over the gap.

If you work in care, we have read closely how that sector's contracts actually get awarded: see what the pattern shows.

How it works, in brief

We map every requirement to the buyer's published rubric before a word is drafted, then write from your evidence with every claim tagged to its source. A human reviews the result against the rubric and your delivery reality before it reaches you.

See what your own evidence already scores, before you pay us anything

Send one email from your work address. That is the whole ask: no form, no call to book, no brief to write, and no obligation to take it any further.

We look at what is already public about your business: your website, any quality marks or certificates you hold (an ISO standard, a sector badge), your record of past public-sector work, and the specific tender or grant you tell us you are chasing, if there is one. We map what we find against the kind of criteria a buyer would score you on, then send back an Evidence Snapshot: a page built for your company, hosted here on this site, showing what already scores well and where the gaps are.

Same working day if your email lands during office hours, next working day if it does not. And if the public record does not give us enough to make it worth your time, the reply says exactly that.

Prefer to type it yourself? hello@heskethandson.com. One line naming your business is enough to start.

Reserve a slot

We are a small firm, and every submission is reviewed by hand by a named person, so we take on only a few live deadlines at once: a rushed submission scores worse, and we'd rather turn work away than draft something that isn't ready.

Reserving costs nothing and starts the evidence conversation. No commitment until you've seen the quote.
