We keep watch

The list you want to be on re-opens, then shuts. Nobody will send you the date.

Buyers keep lists of approved suppliers, and once a list is running, the work goes to the firms already on it. The lists re-open, then close again, and the next chance can be a year away. Panels renew. The window to widen a permission your firm already holds opens on its own schedule. Guidance can change version while the page it sits on still shows last year's date. None of that arrives in your inbox, because nobody's sending it.

What we watch, and what we tell you

  • Watching a named opening: for a firm waiting on one that is shut today

You name what matters. A list you want back onto, a panel that renews, a permission your firm holds, the guidance a bid will be judged against. We check on a schedule and tell you when something moves, with the date we last looked beside it. Keyword alerts say when a notice is published. They don't say when your own licence is up.

Who this is for, and who it is not

For a firm whose next real chance of work is a renewal date rather than an open advert. Keeping a certificate current is the other page: Certificates and deadlines. If something is already open in front of you, that is Before you commit.

Where to start

The first read is free, and it is the same reading a watch starts from. Ask what is out there for a firm like yours, or name the list, panel or permission you have in mind. If what you want watched isn't on this page, the form has a space for you to say so in your own words.
